The DAFTAS are international short spoof film awards centred around BAFTA-nominated films.
The DAFTAs launched in January 2020. What started as a throwaway note in a notebook is now into its third very successful year. Centered around BAFTA-nominated films, DAFTAS celebrates the best spoof film – shot in two days and on a shoestring budget.
The second annual short spoof film awards took place in London on May 29th, 2021.
Since our launch in January 2020, the DAFTA Awards and community are growing fast. In 2022, the DAFTAS will offer mentoring opportunities for comedy filmmakers.
